Baeksang Arts Awards 2020 yang ke 56 telah diselenggarakan pada 5 Juni 2020. Acara penghargaan bergengsi industri perfilman dan televisi Korea Selatan ini diadakan di Kintex, Goyang, Gyeonggi. Berbeda dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya, tahun ini diterapkan pengaturan jarak kursi para undangan agar sesuai protokol social distancing di tengah wabah COVID-19. Acara bergengsi ini untuk ketiga tahun kalinya dibawakan oleh Shin Dong-yup, Bae Suzy, dan Park Bo-gum.

Film Parasite yang telah memenangkan penghargaan Palme d’Or di Cannes Film Festival 2019 serta Oscar, pada Baeksang Arts Awards tahun ini menempatkan nominasi terbanyak pada kategori perfilman dan memenangkan Piala Utama atau Daesang. Sedangkan, pada kategori pertelevisian, When the Camellia Blooms yang menempati nominasi terbanyak memenangkan penghargaan tertingi. Inilah pertama kalinya Netflix masuk dalam nominasi melalui serial Kingdom dan film Time to Hunt.
